Our lab is available for students, teachers, and community members who want to learn more about digital fabrication! Taking a quiz does not mean that you are fully prepared to use the machines, but it does test your knowledge of general safety protocol and lab procedures. In addition to the safety quizzes, you must demonstrate proficiency with the machines to a GCDI staff member.
The General Safety quiz is required to use any machine or tool in the lab, and then additional quizzes are required for further use. See the tool list above to determine which quizzes are required for your project. If you are only interested in accessing one machine (Soldering, for example.) there are quizzes specific to your interest.
