One of our goals is to be a Global resource for schools and others in the world of STEM. Our hope is that you and your students can find a way to use our Digital Fabrication lab in person, or if that is not an option have access to tools to promote and develop STEM in your classroom.
One way that the GCDI promotes STEM is with our specific STEM Kits. These kits are available for checkout and can be used in classrooms for a specific allotted timeframe based on class schedules. To find out more about what is offered in these kits please click below.
Below you can find resources for lesson plans. Many can be scaffolded to the needs of most grade levels. The lessons can also be a starting point to use with the STEM Kits offered by the GCDI.
Another great resource is field trips to the GCDI. During your PBL or capstone project, the tools in the GCDI can help your students create prototypes with greater fidelity and precision.
